It was a tough ten years at the Clinton Correctional Facility, but life is good now that I am out. Sally, my wonderful wife of 40+ years, and my two great kids - Jason and Elise - stood by me through the ordeal. Also, my children each provided me with a grand daughter, so I feel like a real lucky man. I met a lot of interesting people when I was upstate. We did not have a lot in common, but we all found these two truths to be self-evident: 1) Despite the clever title of the Netflix serial, orange is not the new black; and 2) Old friends are the best friends. So I am really looking forward to our 50th.
